The Advance Medical Directive is a document that records your wishes in different medical scenarios in which you are unable to speak for yourself. It provides doctors with guidelines for your care should you be in need but cannot choose between different medical options that they would normally ask you about if they could.

It's important to note that each state has its own set of guidelines when it comes to Advance Medical Directives, which may also be referred to as Living Wills or Advance Directives depending on the state. To provide you with accurate information, we have compiled a list of links to each state's official website page. However, please keep in mind that this is not legal advice, and we recommend consulting with a lawyer in matters of your BIG SIX documents.
